Winnipeg-based roots rocker Greg MacPherson has been going strong for a decade and a half, and he's ready to drop his latest full-length effort this month. Ahead of Fireball's October 29 release date via Disintegration Records, the entire thing is available to stream on Exclaim.ca.
Much of the album finds MacPherson keeping things raw and rocking, as songs like "1995," "Goes Like This" and "Scientist Cowboy" deliver hard-hitting guitars and drums. He branches out on the simmering loud-quiet-loud structure of "Sandhand" and the atmospherically angular "Scientist Cowboy."
The album was recorded with MacPherson's Disintegration colleague Cam Loeppky. See the songwriter's live schedule here, and stream Fireball below. Also, head here to read Exclaim!'s newly published interview with the songwriter.
