When Green Day first announced their album trilogy, the final instalment, ¡Tré!, was slated to come out in January. After Billie Joe Armstrong's rehab stint forced the band to postpone their North American tour, however, the band bumped up the date to December 11, and you can now stream it ahead of time from Rdio.

The albums were recorded with frequent studio collaborator Rob Cavallo, who also helmed past highlights like Dookie (1994) and American Idiot (2004).
Green Day previously explained in a statement, "We are at the most prolific and creative time in our lives. This is the best music we've ever written, and the songs just keep coming. Instead of making one album, we are making a three album trilogy. Every song has the power and energy that represents Green Day on all emotional levels. We just can't help ourselves... We are going epic as fuck!"
¡Tré!, released via Reprise, caps off a very prolific year for the pop punk vets — something explored with the ¡Quatro! documentary.
