BY Sarah MurphyPublished Sep 20, 2016

Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett have been hinting at a new Gorillaz album for a while now, and it seems like the expected arrival date of "fairly soon"' is quickly approaching.

The animated outfit unveiled a new Instagram account this morning (September 20), launching the social media profile with a timeline of the band's career. Beginning with posts that reflect on the year 2000, photos and video clips detail the group's evolution from their debut EP and hit singles like "Clint Eastwood," through milestones like attending the Brit Awards, making magazine covers and dropping an album of B-sides, cleverly titled G-Sides.
