Today (May 14) marks the release of Vancouver quartet Gold & Youth's Arts & Crafts debut Beyond Wilderness. While you can stream the album in full over here, you can also home in on album number "Jewel" via a newly premiered video.
The dark synth-pop piece, sung by the band's Louise Burns, gets fitted with visuals of a woman escaping her lover's bed to perform an early a.m. dance routine around the city. While we see her freely pull out some hair-flitting, body-rockin' choreography on bridges or cement staircases, these scenes are intercut with more intimate, though seemingly trapping, tag-team routines in the bedroom.
