San Francisco's Girls have just released the video for "My Ma," from their acclaimed 2011 album Father, Son, Holy Ghost.
The tune is a bit more depressing than the group's usual surf-y indie pop, and the visuals follow suit. The video features a woman -- presumably as the titular "Ma" -- looking back on her past. The results are pretty heartbreaking for a four-minute clip.
"My Ma" will be released as a limited-edition seven-inch single on May 22, with "Love Life" as the B-Side. The video comes courtesy of Team Coco, which is fitting as Girls will appear on Conan on March 22.
