Legendary disco dude Giorgio Moroder has added another famous name to his impressive list of recent collaborators. As reported by FACT, the musician will be working with Skrillex to make some music for an upcoming Tron videogame.

In an interview with Clash, Moroder explained that Disney had approached him with an opportunity to score an upcoming game for the Tron franchise, though it remains unknown if the game will be based on a prior flick or the rumoured third instalment in the series.

He did reveal, however, plans to collaborate with EDM giant Skrillex on the project. "I'm going to meet Skrillex next week when I'm back," Moroder said. "We have about five themes, electronic stuff and let's see if he's interested in remixing or re-working one of the songs."

The 74-year-old also hinted at another project in the works, revealing that he's been composing a film soundtrack. He's staying tight-lipped on the details, though. "I have an offer to do a big movie. I cannot tell you what, but it's… not a $150 million, but a big movie, big production. So I have to go back into that, it won't be easy. I do this with a great musician and a great composer, so we do it together."

His past film work includes writing the scores for American Gigolo, Scarface and Flashdance. And while there's no word yet on who he's collaborating with on the new score, he has roped in the likes of Sia, Britney Spears, Charlie XCX and Kylie Minogue for his new LP, which is rumoured to be titled 74 Is the New 24 and is due out this spring.
