The Get Up Kids formed in 1995, making this year the band's 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the emo vets will be embarking on a late-summer anniversary tour of North America.
The outing focuses on the western half of the continent. The group will play a number of U.S. shows, in addition to making their way to Canada for a stop in Vancouver on August 31. All told, there are 15 shows between late August and mid-September, including a kick-off gig at Riot Fest in Denver.
