It's been less than month since noisy pop duo Gauntlet Hair released their sophomore album, Stills, and now they have unexpectedly called it quits.
This surprising news comes via the band's Facebook page. A note credited to members Andy Rauworth and Craig Nice says simply, "Gauntlet Hair has reached its end. Thank you all for your support these past 4 years."
The band had made plans for a North American tour this fall. It's currently unknown if they will cancel these shows or if they will complete them a farewell tour.
The band's most recent show was on Thursday (August 8) in their hometown of Chicago.
