In addition to making up one-half of Humans, Vancouver dancefloor filler Peter Ricq sings and plays guitar in Gang Signs alongside singer/synth player Matea Sarenac (aka DJ Wobangs) and drummer Adam Fink. Following last year's self-titled EP, the band have shared a video and remix for the track "Runnin."
The EP version of the song is a danceable electro banger, and it has received a very woozy video featuring lots of projections, disorienting camera work and purple tinting. It was directed by Ricq. As for the remix by Stint, it's slower and druggier than the original.
This is part of a Gang Signs remix EP that's coming out on February 26 through Hybridity Music. Other contributors include Humans, Calamalka, 8prn and more. There will be a remix EP release party at Vancouver's Electric Owl on March 1.
