The Game Taps Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, DJ Premier for 'Jesus Piece' LP

After last year's R.E.D. Album, along with the California Republic from earlier this year, Compton rap champ the Game is refusing to slow down. Instead, he says a brand new LP will drop before the end of 2012, most likely in December.

While the release date is yet to be announced (and will probably move around a bit, if previous rap trends are any indication), the album is called Jesus Piece, and in a recent interview with Hot 937 the rapper revealed that it'll include guest spots from Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, DJ Premier, Trey Songz and Scarface.

As for the album title, the rapper explains that it was inspired by a religious reawakening. "I'm calling it Jesus Piece, 'cause last year in August I got baptized and so I've been going to church, but I still been kinda doing me out here," he said. "I still love the strip club and I still smoke and drink. I'm faithful to my family, so I wanted to make an album where you could love God and be of God, but still get it poppin' in your life."

Stay tuned for more information on Jesus Piece as it becomes available. For now, the Game's radio interview can be streamed in full below.
