Gallant has enlisted Ginuwine to star in his latest video for "Sleep on It." While Ginuwine doesn't actually sing on the track, Gallant has no problem holding his own for this seriously early-2000s/late-'90s throwback slow jam.

Watch the Miles & AJ-directed video down below.

"Sleep on It" arrives ahead of the release of Gallant's sophomore album. Titled Sweet Insomnia, the record marks the first full-length from the R&B singer since 2016's Ology. Sweet Insomnia is due to arrive October 25 via Mind of a Genius/Warner Records.

In the video, we see Ginuwine and his romantic partner apparently in the throes of some sort of marital spat. We watch as Gallant performs as a stand-in narrator while they come to reconcile.

Some older folks may be startled by the presence of some technological relics in the video; in the opening shot, Ginuwine is shown using a Motorola KRZR, and later, his love interest is shown using a hot pink first generation iPod mini. Truly historic.

Gallant is no stranger to celebrity cameos. About a year ago, he released a "TOOGOODTOBETRUE" with Sufjan Stevens and Steven Universe creator Rebecca Sugar. Gallant covered Stevens' Carrie and Lowell track "Blue Bucket of Gold" a few years before. Last year, he appeared on a track with Noah Cyrus called "Mad at You" from her record Good Cry

Gallant is scheduled to perform at Rebel in Toronto this October 16 in support of Sabrina Claudio.
