Emo fans, hold on to your hats: Florida's Further Seems Forever announced this morning (August 24) that they will reunite with former singer Chris Carrabba for the first time since 2001, when he left to form Dashboard Confessional.
Further Seems Forever posted a video on a new website this morning of the band rehearsing "The Moon Is Down" from their debut album of the same name. The video features Carrabba on vocals, and features the word "Spring" in all-caps at the end, presumably hinting that whatever the band are working on - a new album, a reunion tour or both - will be ready early next year.
In an email, the band also confirmed to Buzzgrinder that the reunion is in fact taking place.
Keep your browser glued to Further Seems Forever's new Twitter, which for the time being remains empty, for updates.
Thanks Alternative Press for the heads-up.
