Fugazi Offshoot Deathfix Announce Additional Tour Dates, Play Vancouver

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 13, 2013

Last month, we learned that Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty's new Deathfix project was heading out on the road in support of their impending self-titled debut, but the band's tour plans have now expanded to include a stretch of West Coast dates.

A press release from Dischord Records, who deliver the album February 25, reveals that on top of the previously announced 10-show schedule, which hits Toronto and Montreal, an additional seven shows have been tacked onto the spring itinerary. This includes another Canadian appearance at Vancouver's Media Club on March 21, and two high-profile performances at Coachella. You can check the updated info down below.

As previously reported, Deathfix's seven-song LP apparently features a '70s prog influence, with lyrics covering themes of "sickness, breakups, corruption, drugs, fame, and losing one's mind." You can check out the set's "Low Lying Dreams" down below.
