Free Oxygen

Quirky Montreal-based Free Oxygen Band (El Dogg, Seven Positivity, Sleazy V., Snooky, Admiral Spanky and Fur) are all about traditional funk. Nothing groundbreaking or experimental here — just solid call-and-response funk. The band’s obvious live sound shines through on this 13-track project with "Free Oxygen,” "Soul Murmur” and "Universonic” particularly standing out. El Dogg proclaims that his first words were "We need mo’ funk in this land!” Backed by this outfit, he’s well on his way.
