Despite going on a "farewell tour" back in 2015, California indie unit Foxygen are now hinting at their return.
Today (October 10) marked a small flurry of activity from the recently dormant group, with the project sharing a teaser video featuring new music, as well as a new black and white image uploaded to their socials. As you can see from the newly posted image on their Facebook, it very much looks like some sort of cover art. But for what, we're not entirely sure.
As for that video, which you can watch below, it features some new music from Foxygen, as well as the band's Sam France looking very Bowie-like indeed. And while the clip is only 35 seconds long, it should be enough to get fans stoked on whatever it may be teasing.
For now, though, hold tight to see how this all plays out.

Foxygen's last album was 2014's …And Star Power, which was followed by their supposed farewell tour. However, they followed that up with a one-off track called "24 Hour Lover Man" in 2015. They're also playing a show on October 16 as part of California's Desert Daze festival.A video from Foxygen pic.twitter.com/T0aKfgQf4F
