First Aid Kit recently revealed plans for their next full-length, Ruins, but before it arrives next year, they're celebrating the holiday season with some musical gifts.
The outspoken Swedish sister duo have unveiled a pair of tracks that were recorded live at BBC Radio 2. The set includes a beautifully harmonized Americana-tinged version of Lorde's Melodrama single "Perfect Places," as well as slightly more festive fare with a cover of holiday classic "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."
Both songs feature Melvin Duffy on pedal steel. Listen to both tracks in the player below.
As previously reported, Ruins is due out on January 18 via Columbia. It will mark the follow-up to the group's 2014 LP Stay Gold.
