The two underrated MCs obsessed with B-List actresses are back for their third release under the Felt handle, and this time around they have employed Def Jux staple Aesop Rock to man the boards on this love letter to Puerto-Rican tart Rosie Perez. Those familiar with the duo's two previous releases (2002's Felt: A Tribute To Christina Ricci and 2005's Felt 2: A Tribute To Lisa Bonet) will be happy to hear Slug and Murs are still in fine form, rhyming about typical Felt subject matter (women, drinking, depression) over fresh beats. Aesop Rock graces the boys with a staccato electro bounce on album opener "Protagonists" and Murs and Slug sound right at home on the paranoid flux of "Ghost Dance Deluxe." A guest verse from Aesop Rock would have been a nice touch, considering that he did such a bang up job on the production, however that's just grasping at straws. Can't wait for Felt 4. Go on grab a feel; it feels and sounds good.
