Krautrock remains as influential as ever these days, so it's exciting news that one of the genre's pioneers will be playing shows on North America's West Coast this fall. German legends Faust will be hitting the road next month for a few shows, including a stop in our country.
The six-date outing lasts for just a week, in which time the band will play shows in Portland, Seattle and Vancouver, plus a trio of appearances in Los Angeles (one of which is a workshop). The Vancouver event will feature Seattle's Midday Veil and locals Von Bingen.
See the itinerary for the trip down below.
Faust's lineup for the shows will feature band founders Jean-Hervé Peron and Zappi Diermaier, along with Geraldine Swayne (who played on last year's Something Dirty) and Amaury Cambuzat (who appeared on 2009's C'est Com...Com...Complique).
Tour dates:
10/14 Portland, OR - TBA
10/15 Seattle, WA - The Comet Tavern
10/16 Vancouver, BC - The Waldorf Hotel *
10/18 Los Angeles, CA - Workshop with The Herb Albert School of Music at the Roy Oliver Disney Hall
10/19 Los Angeles, CA - REDCAT
10/20 Los Angeles, CA - CalArts
* with Midday Veil, Von Bingen
