Nebraskan new wavers the Faint haven't dropped a new disc since 2008's Fasciinatiion, but the already retro-styled band are getting ready to take a glance at their own past via an upcoming reissue of their 2001 set, Danse Macabre.
The deluxe edition of the album will arrive courtesy of Saddle Creek Records on October 30, and will come out on double-LP and as two-CD/DVD package. The CD set will come with a 48-page booklet, while the vinyl edition will be packaged with a 12-page booklet. Interestingly, the vinyl version will also come with the two-CD/DVD, so maybe just splurge and give a friend the doubled-up material?
The first disc in the set preserves the original order of Danse Macabre, described in a press release as "one of the crown jewels of the dance-rock movement." The bonus disc compiles some era-appropriate B-sides, the two tracks off the group's "Dust"/"Mote" 12-inch single, and an unreleased remix from Outhud.

The DVD features archival footage from the era, including live clips and the Faint's live show projection.
The Faint have also set up some North American dates, including stops in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. They'll be joined on most dates by nouveau electro-goths Trust. You can catch all the details down below.
