While retro new wave unit the Faint are currently out on the road supporting their soon-to-be-reissued 2001 LP Danse Macabre, the band have apparently been trotting out some new material too. Four tracks that the band recently recorded at their Enamel studio in Omaha, NE, have been pressed onto wax as a tour-exclusive 12-inch.
The tracks mark the first new material from the band since 2008's Fasciination, and you can check the EP opener "Evil Voices" in the widget below. The song starts up with a tribal electro-thud, but soon jumps into the vocoded harmonies and fast-paced, synth-skronking arrangements the band have made their specialty.
The tweaked-up deluxe edition of Danse Macabre drops November 19 through Saddle-Creek, and you can try to pick up both records at the group's upcoming dates in Toronto and Montreal this December.
