It's been a while since we've heard from former Dead Kennedys vocalist Jello Biafra. Well, that's kind of a lie. Biafra is never one to let a moment go by without comment.
We are, however, talking about his music. Despite the odd thing here or there, Biafra hasn't truly been involved in a musical project for many moons. That is, until now.
The high-pitched wailer has finally unveiled a new effort dubbed Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine, which taps the talent of Faith No More's Billy Gould and San Francisco scenesters Kimo Ball (Freak Accident), Ralph Spight (Victims Family) and Jon Weiss.
The quartet have already managed to hammer out a debut. Biafra promises that it will be unleashed unto the masses through Alternative Tentacles on October 20. The album is dubbed The Audacity of Hype, which is kind of a funny moniker given that we've just hyped it up, eh? How audacious of us.
