Every Time I Die Announce Epitaph Debut, Morph from "a Single-Celled Bacteria Straight to the Guy with the Dirt Bike"

BY Keith CarmanPublished Jul 14, 2009

Despite losing their drummer recently due to "personal conflicts," Buffalo hard rock/metal dudes Every Time I Die will sally forth undaunted. They kind of have to since they've been working really hard lately and all of that effort would go to waste.

You see, their label, Epitaph Records, has announced that the band's latest album is ready for mass release. This fifth slab of hardcore-infused metal - or metal-infused hardcore depending on your stance - will be called New Junk Aesthetic and boast 11 tunes. It's the follow-up to 2007's The Big Dirty and will be released on September 15.

"New Junk Aesthetic is not the next logical step in the progression of Every Time I Die," explains front-man Keith Buckley in the press release. "It is an evolutionary leap. It's as if we have morphed from a single-celled bacteria straight to the guy with the dirt bike that will let you watch his older sister suntan if you steal him a smoke from your parents. Certainly you may acknowledge similarities but on a grand scale, they stand light years apart."

As previously reported, Every Time I Die will co-headline the upcoming Epitaph Tour with UK "deathcore" merchants Bring Me the Horizon.

Here's the album's tracklisting, followed by those dates:
