Surprise! Today, rising Tacoma-bred indie rockers Enumclaw have dropped new EP These Are Some B-Sides via Luminelle Recordings. Its arrival marks the first anniversary of their debut album, Save the Baby.
The three-track project was produced by Toro y Moi's Chaz Bear, and maintains the sludgy, fuzzy sound that made Enumclaw's debut so distinct and loved in the first place — a sentiment made particularly clear on the hazy EP closer "Fuck Love, I Just Bought a New Truck," with its concise and honest lyricism, distorted guitar and catchy riffs.
Of the track, bandleader Aramis Johnson shared: "I got my heart broke so I went to the store bought an ice cold sixer got in my brand new truck and wrote a song about it."
Enumclaw have also shared a 45-minute tour documentary, which follows the band on their Save the Baby tour. Watch that below, where you can also listen to These Are Some B-Sides.
