Swedish death metal mainstays Entombed may have re-branded as Entombed A.D., but the outfit are as brutal as ever. A wicked, whiplash-inducing number called "Midas in Reverse" from the act's forthcoming Dead Dawn is streaming now, and damned if it doesn't reveal that the band still has a golden touch.
The track is straight-up ruthless, featuring a blend of speedy beats, monstrously detuned riffs, and gruff and grave screams. Though menacing, there's a tinge of melody to the piece, which demonstrates how the act continue to follow that, ahem, Left Hand Path.
You can stream "Midas in Reverse" below, while Dead Dawn rises February 26 via Century Media Records.
