Enforcers

End of Time

BY Kiel HumePublished Dec 13, 2011

Hailing from Montreal, Enforcers are a new addition to A389, a label that finds the best thrash and hardcore bands, even if they're in a frozen, French-speaking city in Canada. Enforcers join the ranks of Endast and a few other MTL bands that prove Quebec is still a force to be reckoned with in Canada's heavy music scene. Enforcers make the kind of old school hardcore that makes you want to put on a bunch of leather, bring out the old Doc Martins and wear things with metal studs. End of Time is full of the fast, angry, angst-filled songs that made mid-'90s hardcore so loveable ― everything is mosh-pit, jump around and have fun hardcore, with plenty of all-in choruses. Not satisfied making just catchy hardcore, the band also prove their musicianship with some solo work reminiscent of early Slayer or (really) early Metallica. Check out End of Time and hear the next generation of hardcore; it's a blast!
