END — the metalcore supergroup fronted by Counterparts vocalist Brendan Murphy — will join forces with brutal Utah outfit Cult Leader for a new EP this fall.

Per Lambgoat, the two bands will team up for Gather & Mourn, a four-song release arriving September 9 via Closed Casket Activities/Deathwish Inc.

Both bands previously teased the collaborative release in late June, sharing the following graphic, which combines the illustrated faces from the album covers of END's 2020 debut Splinters from an Ever-Changing Face and Cult Leader's 2018 sophomore LP A Patient Man.

You can hear END's "Eden Will Drown" and Cult Leader's "Ataraxis" in the players below, where you'll also find END's slate of summer tour dates. This month, the band will play four shows in Canada alongside Misery Signals, making stops in Montreal, Ottawa, London and Toronto.

On the technical side, Converge guitarist and producer Kurt Ballou mixed Cult Leader's two tracks, while END guitarist Will Putney recorded, mixed, and mastered END's contributions in addition to mastering Cult Leader's. Exclaim! named Cult Leader's A Patient Man among the Best Metal and Hardcore Albums of 2018. Read Exclaim!'s interview with Cult Leader.

END also features Fit for an Autopsy guitarist Will Putney, guitarist Gregory Thomas (ex-Shai Hulud), Reign Supreme bassist Jay Pepito and drummer Billy Rymer (ex-Dillinger Escape Plan). Canadian drummer Andrew McEnaney (Structures, Trade Wind) departed the group in early 2020 after manning the kit on 2017 debut From the Unforgiving Arms of God.

In October, Murphy and his Counterparts bandmates will deliver new album A Eulogy for Those Still Here.
