Elton John has revealed that he recently tested positive for COVID-19, and as a result, is halting his recently-revived Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.
John cancelled his goodbye shows Tuesday and Wednesday (January 25 and 26) at Dallas' American Airlines Center with plans to reschedule the dates. Like so many tours, the shows were originally scheduled for June 2020 but were postponed during the first wave of the pandemic.
In a statement to USA TODAY, John's representatives said the singer is fully vaccinated and boosted and is experiencing mild symptoms. He's expected to resume the tour Saturday in Little Rock, AR.
