Toronto punk four-piece Ell V Gore are known for their enigmatic presence and gritty tunes, and they delivered all that and more when we met with them to record a new tune for Exclaim! TV.
Keeping with their shadowy aesthetic, they met us in the dimly-lit basement of Paul's Boutique in Toronto's Kensington Market neighbourhood to perform new track "Wild In You." The song features duelling guitar riffs and a steady, thumping rhythm section, along with biting lyrics.
Watch the performance below. Ell V Gore will be performing in Toronto on June 13 and 16 for NXNE, and on June 30 opening for Mac DeMarco.
