Who are you?
Elisha Rembold, musician and songwriter, recording engineer.

What are you up to?
Enjoying some free time to work on new material after coming home from a year in the Winnipeg music scene.

Hometown and current HQ?
Parksville, B.C. Vancouver Island, but I am now residing in Vancouver, B.C.

Current fixations:
Douglas Copeland, Superchunk, anything to do with the Dahle brothers, and 100% rocky your socks off music inc., Jimmy eat world, Limblifter, Built to Spill, The Weakerthans, etc.

Mind altering work of art:
The Gregg Araki film "The Doom Generation".

Most memorable/inspirational gig? And why?
It has to be a toss between my first Limblifter gig and seeing Kid Koala in front of my face both in The Pyramid Winnipeg Man. Cheers to them for putting on an amazing show… That show was all about being in a good space.

What should everyone shut up about?
Napster… Do I say more?

Your greatest strength/weakness:
Weakness: Boys with Sloan hair.
Strength: Keeping secrets.

Your vital daily ritual:
Going for a walk of some sort… Got to be the best thing going.

Guilty pleasure:
I don't know if I feel guilty about pleasure… Unless it includes lots of alcohol.

If I wasn't playing music I would be:
Non-existent.

Your most memorable day job:
Work at a pottery shop making sushi plates all day.

Best/worst advice received:
Best: "Go ask your mom".

I would drop everything to play a benefit for:
Most anything… Including the war against the everlasting hairdo "The Mullet".

What makes you want to take it off and get it on?
Those days that you don't have any signs of writer's block.

What personal trait would make you kick someone out of your band and/or bed? And have you?
Definitely low self-esteem, and no spunk… And yes.

When I think of Canada I think…
How can the Canadian passport be another name for hockey hair?

Music and sex: Is there a difference? Why?
This is like that chocolate question isn't it? Well both of these are better than chocolate I'll tell you that much.

Strangest brush with celebrity:
It would have to be meeting Zac from "Saved By The Bell" and Carlton from "The Fresh Prince" in Vancouver and having them both tell me to go home and watch their show like I was 2.

What does your mom wish you were doing instead?
Nothing other than music… She's my biggest fan.
