New York City rhymer/producer El-P dropped by the Late Show with David Letterman last night (May 15) to perform "Stay Down" from his upcoming album Cancer4Cure.
As previously reported, the new record features a collaboration with Nick Thorburn of Islands (aka Nick Diamonds), who was on hand to play with El-P for the television appearance.
El-P also gave shout-outs to the Beastie Boys' MCA and children's author Maurice Sendak, who both passed away recently. Cancer4Cure is out May 22 via Fat Possum and you can see El-P's upcoming tour dates here.
