Back in the summer, an Earl Sweatshirt song called "Rats" emerged online, apparently dating back to 2010. While the prior version was just 90 seconds long, the full track has now emerged.
This three-minute version was sent to Pigeons and Planes with a note saying that the prior track was a "chopped and screwed short version." Although the production here doesn't sound all that different from the other version (so there doesn't seem to be much chopping or screwing happening in either one), it's nearly twice as long, which means we get more of the dark, Tyler, The Creator-produced beat and lots of filthy-minded rhymes.
Hear it below.
