Eamon McGrath

"Bitter Ends"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 19, 2013

Prior to Exile Part 1's October 15 release through Aporia Records, Canadian songwriter Eamon McGrath is hitting the road for an Exclaim!-presented tour. The outing kicks off in Vancouver next Monday (September 23), and prior to that date, McGrath has shared his new single from the forthcoming EP.

An announcement cites bands like Hüsker Dü and the Replacements as stylistic touchstones for the fiery "Bitter Ends," which is a gruff and gritty track that sonically falls somewhere between salt-of-the-earth roots rock and heavily distorted punk. Scroll past the tour dates to stream the song below.

Exile Part 1 is the first part in a series of EPs that will lead up the full-length Exile.
