Prog-metal mainstays Dream Theater will be floating to a series of venues next spring to help support their recent self-titled LP.
Following a few scattered reveals earlier this week, the Massachusetts outfit have now announced their plans for the "Along for the Ride" tour in full. March 20 sees the band kicking off the trek at Toronto's Massey Hall, which will be followed the next night with a stop at Montreal's Bell Center. While the act then head to the U.S. to play, naturally, a number of theatres, they'll be back in Canada for a Vancouver stop on April 12 before capping the trip down in Mexico.
You'll find all the specifics down below.
As previously reported, the band's 12th album was their first to feature Mike Mangini behind the drum kit, with guitarist John Petrucci noting earlier that the record was "an opportunity to start over."
"This is the first self-titled album of our career and there is nothing I can think of that makes a statement of musical and creative identity stronger than that," he said at the time. "We've fully explored all of the elements that make us unique, from the epic and intense to the atmospheric and cinematic."
