Drake Sued over Owl Necklace Design

Last month, Drake was sued by former stylist Michael Raphael for allegedly unpaid consulting, travel and shopping expenses. Now, the Canadian rapper has been sued by Raphael once again — this time via the designer's Baden Baden Inc. jewelry company — over necklaces bearing Drizzy's October's Very Own owl logo.

Drake apparently hired Baden Baden Inc. to make a diamond-studded platinum owl pendant back in January. TMZ reports that it cost $49,204. A few months later, the jewellers claim, photographs of gold imitations started emerging online. You can see a comparison here at TMZ.

The company alleges that Drake ripped off the design and then distributed the imitations to his friends. Baden Baden is suing for copyright infringement and unspecified damages, in addition to demanding that Drake give up the necklaces.

Drake's album Nothing Was the Same is out on September 24.
