Long running rock revivalists Dr. Dog have been riding high ever since the release of their seventh studio album, B-Room, last October, thanks in part to the album's anthemic lead single, "Broken Heart." That's why for the newest edition of Exclaim! TV, we caught up with the radio ready rock troupe at Toronto's Opera House to catch the band perform a stripped-down version of the bouncy ballad.
Recorded live at the historic venue's chilled-out attic lounge, watch as the Philadelphia sextet strums their way through the soulful song. The result is a ramshackle rendition of the jam-y pop tune, which is all the more aided by the group's sun-soaked harmonies and saturated synths.
Watch the video now in the player below, and don't forget to catch Dr. Dog as they continue to criss-cross North America on their current tour.
