Ex-Heartbreak Hill bluegrass sweetheart Dottie Cormier steps up with her solo debut, warmly produced by Don Kerr and featuring the finest pickin' in York County. With the talented Toronto players backing her up, Cormier could have slacked off by letting them solo over skeletal songs, but her songwriting makes this much more than your average bluegrass record; "Gospel Train" and "Run Willie Run" sound like tried and true classics. Close your eyes and it will feel like summer festival season already.
