On May 13, the Dirty Projectors will treat their Swing Lo Magellan single "The Socialites" to a new remix 12-inch via Domino. The first track from the release comes courtesy of Hot Chip's Joe Goddard.
Right from the start, it's clearly Goddard, with a subtle and subdued four-on-the-floor beat calmly pushing the track forward. It slowly builds towards the end, but never really breaks through into obnoxious fist-pumping territory.
