Earlier this year, Detroit garage gurus the Dirtbombs switched things up with Party Store, a collection of Detroit techno classics covered by the band in their inimitably fuzzy rock style. The record was interesting and divisive, to say the least, but the real test is how these electronic reworks will translate in a live setting. Fortunately, the band will let us know on an upcoming tour.
Kicking off in Detroit on May 30, the Dirtbombs will bring Party Store to select venues across North America, including Canadian appearances at Montreal's La Sala Rossa on July 14 and Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on July 15.
