These days Dionne Warwick is more famous for her Psychic Friends Network infomercials than her singing career, which means this greatest hits package has come along just in time. Packaging Warwick’s work with Burt Bacharach and Hal David ("Walk On By," "I Say A Little Prayer" and more) and later hits with the Bee Gees will go along way toward reminding folks of Warwick’s once formidable talent. Of course, it’s not all good. The dodgy tracks she did with Luther Vandross and the truly terrible "That’s What Friends Are For" are also included here, so you can hear the decline that paved the way for her late-night TV shilling.
