With Heaven and Hell quickly approaching its 30th anniversary, the time is ripe for three classic albums of the Ronnie James Dio era of Black Sabbath to be reissued. Along with Heaven and Hell, 1981's Mob Rules and 1982's Live Evil will also be getting redone.
Besides the remasters of the original recordings, each album will come with a bonus disc of material. This spans extra live recordings and videos to alternate edits of tracks. Live Evil will also contain restored banter from Ronnie James Dio.
Keep an eye out for these three sets when Universal Music reissues them on April 5. As previously reported, Dio is currently battling stomach cancer. Last month, his wife reported that he was making progress through chemotherapy.
