Late last year, tech-metal vets the Dillinger Escape Plan revealed that their own Party Smasher Inc. imprint would be partnering up with Sumerian Records to release the band's next LP, and the act have now announced a few details behind the set, which is titled One of Us Is the Killer.
A press release confirmed the album title and unveiled its ink-and-feather-adorned artwork, which you can see above. And while we still don't have a firm release date, the set is to drop sometime in May.
A tracklisting has also not yet been made available, but the group's next LP apparently represents "a new holistic pinnacle of the band's constantly evolving and engaging dynamics."
As previously reported, the band recorded in Southern California with Steve Evetts (Glassjaw, the Cure, Suicide Silence), with extra tracking having taken place at guitarist/co-founder Ben Weinman's home studio in New Jersey. Mastering duties will be handled by Tom Baker (Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, Beastie Boys).
Sound samples have yet to arrive, but the band do have a few U.S. shows coming up this spring and some European festival dates in July. You can see their show schedule down below.
The Dillinger Escape Plan's last LP was 2010's Option Paralysis.
