Dillinger Escape Plan just issued a tour-only 7-inch featuring new track "Happiness Is a Smile." If you can't quite make it out to any of the dates on their current North American trip, you can at least catch the track in a new live clip-loaded video.
Sonically, the track is a more modestly paced though still oppressive cut from the mathcore vets, gelling on a gigantic groove and less seizure-riffic guitar runs while still showcasing Greg Puciato's terrifying tough-guy howls. The video was shot in-concert and finds the band wrecking it across the stage and head-walking through the crowd. It's a primer for what upcoming audiences have in store for themselves this spring.
