Devastation

Even back in the day, Devastation never made much of an impact on the metal scene so it's pretty surprising to see Century Media taking the time and coin to thrust this upon people today. Devastation were always just a competent thrash band with galloping riffs and noodling guitar work. They did have a charismatic personality fronting the band — one Rodney Dunsmore — but listening back to Signs of Life now, it's obvious he was cherished more for his character and live abilities because on record he's pretty ordinary.
