Destroyer are in desperate need of a new tour bus driver.
Dan Bejar and company are reportedly stranded somewhere en route to a scheduled performance in Carrboro, NC, tonight — as part of their current North American tour supporting LABYRINTHITIS — after firing the driver for crashing the bus not once, but twice.
The news comes from Toronto multi-instrumentalist (and frequent Destroyer contributor) Joseph Shabason, who took to Twitter to inquire about any tour bus drivers being promptly available for some work.
"Does anyone know a licensed tour bus driver who wants three weeks of work in North America, starting immediately?" he wrote. "My pals in Destroyer are stranded after their tour bus driver who only had three days experience crashed their bus twice and got fired. HMU with any leads."
The tour began in Vancouver last month, and the band successfully made it to their most recent April 30 date in Nashville, TN.
