Deluxtone Rockets

The Deluxtone Rockets are mostly a swing band but they’ve got a great rockabilly twist. They’ve added a raunchy guitar, a deep and heavy stand-up bass, plus the horns are not in your face all the time so this disc comes highly recommended. There’s lots of references to cars, living in the city and the accompanying nightlife, and the guys in the band all look like they are fresh from the garage! All that gives this a livid ‘50s feel with each and every listen and that sometimes is all life requires.
