Dee Dee Ramone

Dee Dee Ramone's new record sounds not surprisingly like the Ramones. He's joined by his daughter Barbara and Chris Spedding, who also produced this. The songs she sings have more zip to them, aided by an acetone organ. Although catchy at times, there is something distinctly lacking in this record. I hate to use the "a" word, but Dee Dee isn't a kid anymore and he sounds almost tired at times. A greater vocal contribution from the younger Ramone would add a lot to the sound.
