Toronto nacho institution Sneaky Dee's has revealed that Death From Above 1979 will be the latest artists to get their own signature dish at the long-running local music venue and bar.
The new menu item will feature Sneaks' famous nachos piled high with pulled pork, jalapeno, black beans, cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, green onions, sliced habaneros and sliced avocado, with a full habanero pepper on top. The loaded plate of spicy goodness will run you $19.79.
The electro-punk duo join the list of artists who have been honoured with cheesy goodness that already includes Lights' Cactus in the Valley nachos, Fucked Up's Queen of Heart Attacks and breakfast special, and Cancer Bats' fries-based Destroyer nachos.
Death From Above 1979 recently released The Physical World, marking their return to the world of recorded music after a 10-year hiatus. Celebrate their return by grabbing a plate of nachos at Sneaky Dee's — but it's probably best to share an order with some friends. Relive our Exclaim!
