As they recently proved with their electrifying performance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien (where they somehow lured a frenzied Max Weinberg to fill in on drums for their song's climax), Death From Above 1979 have taken the world by storm with their two-man sonic assault. This lengthy yet groove-filled remix by the UK's premier indie remixer and Trash club founder Erol Alkan, meets the duo's dance floor potential in full by cutting and pasting the song and rearranging its sequence in an off-kilter yet refreshing way. Beginning like a page out of the Chemical Brothers' book, the track stops midway and becomes itself for a mere moment before Alkan fiddles with the vocals' pace, removes distortion from Jesse Keeler's bass and shifts the drums to the foreground before its mighty end.
