Deadmau5 to Launch Music Subscription Series

BY Josiah HughesPublished Nov 22, 2013

Mouse-eared EDM superstar deadmau5 has had much of his personal life under scrutiny as of late, from his rocky relationship with Kat Von D to the contents of his bank account. In an attempt to make it about the music again, the artist has announced plans to launch a music subscription service.

While details are scarce, the artist revealed the new project via his Facebook page yesterday (November 21), saying, "launching a private site / subscription model really soon. thank god."

It hasn't surfaced just yet, but he added that it's coming "really soon as in, probably 24 hours."

He went on to describe the project as a sort of EDM utopia, saying, "imagine... we'll finally have a camp we can all enjoy with no spam. no phony accounts. no bullshit. no annoying kids. no nothing. just unadulterated music and live streams and access to pretty much everything i have on the go."

Stay tuned for more details on the new subscription service as they become available.
