Dead to Me

Dead to Me are a no frills California pop punk band with Buzzcocks-ish vocal harmonies, typical Fat Wreck Chords humour and skate-ready songs. Falling somewhere in between NOFX and Stiff Little Fingers, Dead to Me are not terribly original but Cuban Ballerina definitely has its moments. "Still Heartbeat” has a great Clash-inspired riff, while "Visiting Day” is a great pop punk ditty under two minutes. Not for listeners searching for the re-definition of punk rock, but a solid listen nonetheless.
